The Erin Equine Community Directory’s main focus is to showcase equine related businesses, and those who work with them, in the Town of Erin, Ontario. However, we do accept listings from other equine related businesses in the surrounding area and throughout North America. If your products or services benefit those who have or work with horses, then you will be a welcome addition to our directory.

The following is a general outline of how to become a member of the Erin Equine Community Directory; how to post a new listing;  how to access & maintain your account; and how to request a listing in our Events Calendar.

Registering with Erin Equine Community Directory:

  • Click on Register in the top right navigation bar
  • Enter the required information
  • Click on Next and a password will be emailed to you
  • Click on the Login link in the email and enter your username and password
  • Be sure to make note of your password somewhere for future use
  • Build your profile by clicking on Personal Info in the right sidebar navigation
  • You should receive an email confirming your registration.

Posting a New Listing:

  • When you are logged into your account, click on Post New in the top right navigation bar or Post New Listing in the right sidebar navigation
  • You will be asked to fill in the following information:
    – Your Listing Title
    – Category
    – Location
    – Address/Zip (12345 Any Street, City, Province, Postal Code)
    – YouTube Video Link (if applicable)
    – Website (if applicable – contact Equine Web Design if you require one)
    – Description
    – Tags (keywords)
  • Click on Next Step
  • Browse your computer for your logo or other image that will be posted with your listing (recommended size for image – 250px wide x 200px high (no larger than 250px))
    (Note: each listing includes one image. Additional images are $5 per image)
  • You can also upload 1 digital file (pdf) for people to download (ie. price list, flyer, etc)
  • Click Next Step
  • Choose the plan you wish to buy; click on the Buy button
  • If you have a Paypal account, Log In; if you don’t have a Paypal account, simply register and use your credit to pay for the listing
  • Once your payment has gone through, click on Return to Docu-Type/Equine Design/Shady Ridge and you will be returned to your account on this website.
  • You should receive an email confirming your posting.

Accessing & Maintaining You Account:

  • Click on Log In in the top right navigation bar
  • Choose from the right sidebar navigation to review your listings and make any necessary changes.

Request a Listing in our Events Calendar:

  • Click on our Add to Event Calendar page
  • Fill in the entire form with your event details
  • Near the bottom, you can submit an image by choosing one from your computer. Note that the image can not be any larger than 500px on any side.
  • Choose the length of time you would like to have your listing in the calendar ($10 per month… minimum 1 month… in 1 month intervals).
  • Click Submit to be taken to Paypal to pay for your submission.
  • If you have a Paypal account, Log In; if you don’t have a Paypal account, simply register and use your credit to pay for the listing
  • Once your payment has gone through, click on Return to Docu-Type/Equine Design/Shady Ridge and you will be returned the Thank You page on our website.
  • You should receive an email confirming your listing.
  • Your listing will be added to our calendar on the date you specified. Please note that listings are added manually in order to ensure no spam listings.
